Order of Operations Rap and Activities

Okay, I must confess...I love Math! Algebra was my all time favorite to teach!  I have done some pretty goofy things with my students in the past...anything to motivate and encourage struggling learners!  However, I am not musically inclined (at all), so I especially love and appreciate this video of the Order of Operations Rap.  Enjoy!

I have also created some Order of Operations Task Cards.Task cards are a wonderful alternative to worksheets.  These cards reinforce math skills while allowing students to move in the classroom.  Brain research shows up that movement increases student achievement!  Mr. Tomai is certainly aware of this research!   Click on the pictures to view the task cards and the anchor chart.
